The founder of Volontariat, Madeleine de Blic, and her husband Arnaud de Blic help the team and Pondicherry committee. They guarantee the line which was defined with the European committees during regular Assembly meetings. The next Assembly meeting will take place at the invitation of Le Vésinet committee in May 2018.
Volontariat was constituted as an Indian association in Pondicherry at the Registrar of Associations in 1966 (N° 38). The association’s president. Mr. Kanagasabai, is a former member of the Governement of the Territory of Pondicherry.
The employees, who work in the association, are 100% Indian. Under the direction of the director Mr. Sendil Coumarane, they do their best to achieve the programs. Today, the association approximately has more than 150 employees who benefit from a health insurance as well as a pension scheme.
